I’ve Seen Love – Song Review
As I have stated before in several articles, we sometimes find great music written by “real” artists. Sometimes we find that some artists just write from the soul. Well, Dan Mclean Jr. is def one of those guys that channels the 70’s soul sound. His new release of his song entitled, “I’ve Seen Love”, represents the soul of the early days in music. He has a range that reminds you of KC And The Sunshine Band mixed with a little bit of disco’esq that combines the style of the classic group, The Temptations.
When you listen to a song that you have never heard before, you sometimes hear some things that you don’t hear in other songs. Well in this song, he combines a symphony of horns mixed with a soul styled guitar solo that will hit your eyes with a glorified feeling of humbleness. With everything that he combines to make this song great, he brings a feeling of love. The guitar strums combine with the bass lines, he brings a live feeling that makes you just want to love your spouse even more.
When I usually hear music, I really like to find out about the artist and where they are all about. After doing some research on Dan, he is really an amazing artist through and through. He has many ranges of musical ability. What impresses me most by Dan’s ability to write, is his adversity in his music. Each of his songs after you listen to “I’ve Seen Love”, is entirely different but what is undeniable, is how “I’ve Seen Love” hits you in places you never thought it would. An all around feel good song that makes you want to dance with the love of your life.
