Legendary Jazz bassist and winner of 3 Grammy Awards, John Patitucci presents his new album “Irmãos de Fé” coming out on vinyl record.

Patitucci has played on countless albums with legendary and major artists such as B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, George Benson, Dizzy Gillespie, Was Not Was, Dave Grusin, Natalie Cole, Bon Jovi, Queen Latifah, Sting, and Carly Simon.

“Irmãos de Fé” record is a love letter to the music of Brazil, on this short video you can hear John talking about how the album came together, his long history with the music of Brazil and a bit on blasting Trane on his record player as a teenager in Brooklyn.

The record just came out on Newvelle Records, which sells its albums in a subscription bundle, exclusively on vinyl, featuring Yotam Silberstein on guitars and Rogério Boccato drums & percussions.
