Some would describe 90’s hip-hop as a light track with quality vocals and harmonized rapping. While some of us hip-hop fans already lost hope of “real” quality hip-hop, it looks like some fresh new talent in the industry are turning things around.  Fresh, creative, and young emerging artists Lil JSean and Aesja are bringing back the old with a touch of the new. Their new track is called “Trust ‘Em” and is now going viral.

With their unique style and a 90% DIY video, these gifted independent musicians have already managed to get the attention of Billboard and have some major TV interviews — and this is only the beginning.

A few weeks ago Houston Chronicle featured an article breaking the news of their collaboration with Kanye West’s artist Cyhi The Prynce. Cyhi is one of the co-writers on the bulk of West’s “Yeezus” and “The Life of Pablo” albums. He is signed to West’s GOOD Music and is preparing a full-length album.

The track is called “Long Damn Time” and consists of one more person: Kingwood native Ana. Ana is just 14 years old, anchoring the song with her chorus.
